Public parking data & attribution
Parkberry's public-parking layer aggregates open parking data. Each source is tagged on every record, so any source can be filtered or excluded - this matters for the licence differences below.

OpenStreetMap and ODbL
OpenStreetMap data is published under the Open Database License (ODbL). Any product built from it must attribute OpenStreetMap and, for a derived database, share it under ODbL in turn.
Because every OpenStreetMap-sourced row is tagged as such throughout our pipeline, publishing it is a
deliberate switch (includeOdbl), off by default, that only a Tower administrator can turn on - and
turning it on requires a recorded legal sign-off to the attribution and share-alike obligations above.
Every published facility carries its own source tag, visible on that facility's detail screen in the
app, so this obligation is honoured record by record, whichever way the switch is currently set.
Freshness and live data
Live occupancy readings come from the operators listed above and expire on a per-source schedule; a reading Parkberry can no longer vouch for is labelled "stale", never shown as current. We never claim a facility or a price is "verified" - only that data was refreshed at a given time, from a named source.

Parking data (c) SBB, the cantons and cities of Zurich, Basel-Stadt, Geneve, Bern, St. Gallen, Zug, Luzern, Winterthur, Biel/Bienne and Vaud, OpenChargeMap contributors, and (where enabled) OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).
